Senior C++/Java Developer - Tape Devices and Format Engineer
Agressive software development and tape media service bureau is
looking for a senior C++ developer with the following skills:
Required:
* C++: 5+ years
* Java: 2 years
* Unix Development: 3 years
* XML: 1 years
Suggested:
* Unix Administration
* Unix Device Development
* SCSI Devices
* Tape Formats
* Backup Software interface experience
* JSP
* Struts
* UML
This position will focus on work to support our backup media service
center. This entails reverse engineering tape formats of various kinds
(such as what various types of backup software might write). You will
also work with our software products.
We are looking for agressive problem solvers. Politicians, CYA'ers,
and academics need not apply. You must have excellent communications
skills, as well. This is a small organization that requires that
everyone pull their own weight. Those who could not pass a domestic
background check should not apply. That probably excludes everyone who
is not currently a U.S. citizen.
